My Story
Alex is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a passion for supporting children, teens, and families through life’s challenges. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and her M.S. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Children and Adolescents from Azusa Pacific University. In addition, Alex holds a certificate in FEED/TEACH for infant-toddler mental health,
underscoring her commitment to early childhood development.
Alex is deeply committed to play therapy, meeting children in the language they understand best—play. Through this approach, children can safely express themselves, process experiences, and build skills for emotional growth and healing. She also partners with parents, guiding them through every developmental stage while equipping them with tools to strengthen attachment, foster resilience, and nurture their child’s growth.
Her therapeutic approach integrates child-centered play therapy, attachment-based play therapy, and faith-based therapy, drawing on Christian values to offer hope, encouragement, and a sense of purpose. Alex strives to create a safe and supportive environment where children and families can heal, grow, and thrive emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.
