My Story
As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Los Angeles Pacific University and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Children and Adolescents from Azusa Pacific University, providing a strong foundation for supporting individuals and families across developmental stages.
My clinical experience includes working with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, adjustment challenges, and life transitions. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build resilience and discover their strengths.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused interventions. My work with children incorporates developmentally appropriate play therapy techniques, drawing from Polyvagal Theory to support emotional regulation, strengthen feelings of safety and connection, and promote healing from difficult experiences.
In addition to my professional training, I bring valuable life experience through marriage, parenthood, and years of nurturing family relationships. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the complexities of family life, parenting, and the importance of healthy connections.
My goal is to partner with clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and meaningful change, helping them cultivate hope, confidence, and lasting emotional wellness.
