Pet Therapy

We believe in the profound healing power that animals can bring to individuals struggling with emotional, psychological, and social challenges. Our Pet Therapy Program is designed to complement traditional therapeutic approaches and provide an additional avenue for our clients to find comfort, support, and connection. Our therapy animals undergo extensive training and certification to ensure they are well-suited for their role in our program. They are selected for their gentle demeanor, calm temperament, and ability to connect with individuals in need.

What is Pet Therapy

Pet therapy, also known as animal-assisted therapy, involves interactions between trained animals and individuals under the supervision of a licensed therapist or counselor. These therapy sessions aim to improve emotional well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, enhance social skills, and promote a sense of comfort and companionship.

During a pet therapy session, clients have the opportunity to interact with our therapy animal in a safe and controlled environment. Sessions may include activities such as petting, grooming, playing, or simply spending quiet time together. Our therapists are present to facilitate the sessions and help clients process their experiences.
